Cytech announces evaluation board for Altera's Cyclone V SoC device

Singapore, April 8, 2013 – Cytech Global today announced the release of a flexible evaluation board built around Altera's Cyclone® V SoC device. The board starts shipping from May 2013 and the seminar series will be provided based on our board by Macnica group companies worldwide.

Cytech's "Helio Board" offers low cost and user-friendly evaluation environment for Altera's innovative Cyclone SoC device. Reference designs will be also provided for the users of this board to quickly ramp the evaluation and design for Cyclone V SoC device.

Also featured are Linear Technology's high performance power ICs, IDT's clock and timing ICs and Würth Elektronik passive components. Altima will offer comprehensive technical and sales support including Altera FPGAs and these components for the board users.

The board will be marketed worldwide through Macnica Group, including Altima and Elsena (Japan), Cytech Technology (China and Hong Kong), Cytech Global (ASEAN countries and India), Galaxy Far East Corporation (Taiwan), Macnica Americas (North America) and Macnica DHW (Brazil).
